Is PC Tattletale (keylogger) part of vista parental control software?

whenever I run my spyscanner It tells me that I have pc tattletale
(keylogger) installed. I am wondering if it is part of the parental control
software in Vista.

If not, where has it come from and how can I disable/get rid of it?

Try this free tool - it saved me a lot of times in finding malware.
http://www.spybot.info/

Check that your Antiviral tools are up to date and working.

You could also download a free copy of any Linux Live CD and boot the PC
with it to do a scan for malware

( Windows Defender and OneCare are a bundle of crap, just my opinion )

For all of you - It is far too early to tell how vulnerable Vista will
be to viruses and other malware. We techs working in the Real World(tm)
will have to see what happens in the wild.

At this point, I would be very skeptical of any findings by antispyware
programs and antivirus programs unless they are for sure certified to
work on Vista. By "work on Vista", I don't mean just that they will run.
I mean that they will understand Vista's file structure and recognize
Vista's native files.

Unless you upgraded from an infested machine (and transfered everything
back after the upgrade install) or you know you haven't been practicing
Safe Hex, there is a high probability that your antimalware application
is producing a false positive. I would contact the company that made
your antimalware program for confirmation before allowing any file deletion.

Please understand that I'm not saying that Vista is invulnerable. No
operating system is invulnerable. However, I am urging caution and
suggesting you research scan results further.
