Vista - system froze during shut down

While restarting my computer, it has frozen on shutting down for more than 30
minutes now. Nothing that I know to do or have tried has made a difference.
I was attempting to install a Lexmark 9350 printer software just before this
happened. Also, the 9350 software is not compatable with window vista.
HELP. I just purchased my new 9350 printer tonight and had hoped to have all
working fine by now. I need help in getting out of the 'shutting down"
process, and help on how I can install the 9350 printer on my new vista
laptop. Thanks for your help & time.

Your X9350 Lexmark printer is compatible with Vista.

If the new drivers didn't come with your printer,
they are available from Lexmark as a download.

The site at the moment is rather slow at loading,
but may pick up later in the day/night.

Your shutdown problems may go away if the
new drivers are applied.

Just use http://www.lexmark.com and then find your driver download
consumer inkjets, model year - 2006, X9350.
