Vista - Email photos from Photo Gallery

Windows Photo Gallery will not open a new Windows Mail message when I click
the 'e-mail' icon in Photo Gallery. The photo seems to just disappear.
This feature was working when I first installed Vista. Since then I loaded
my old Outlook contacts and that seemed to cause my problem.

Hello,

You need to set which program is your default mail application, then it
should work. To do this, go into Internet Explorer, Options, set Default
Mail Application.

Hello Jonathan,
Perhaps you can help me. In my default option I have Windows Mail (News),
This is set as a default in Windows Mail/Tools/Options. I do not have a
Windows Mail option to select and I cannot change Tools /Option "this is not
your default..." It changes but reverts as soon as I click OK
