MS Help and Support

Ok I have a problem with installing my HP printer.
HP anve given up on me, say it a Vista problem
I have posted into the Vista Printer and Scanner group, but nothing usefull
has turned up
Thougfht I would contact the Help and Support Center, I have 90 days....
LOL

To use the Help and Support Center, one has to enter the Product ID.
This I have done,
But, all I am told is that the ID is not Valid.

Can any one help, before my 90 days runs out, the clock is ticking.

This Vista has not been a good experiance.
I had to fight to get extrernal USB hub and drive connected
Hp printer drivers just not found, for a printer that is reported
compatable.

Very fustrated
Peter.

PS the spelling checked does not work here, language no longer avaliable

Re: MS Help and Support

Peter--
Call MSFT and ask for activation and see what they say about your PK first
of all. This seems like a mix of several problems.

Are you installing this for a networked box or a free standing box?

I don't understand how you have to put in any Product Key or Product ID to
use the "Help and Support" of Vista--I assume you don't mean that at
http://support.microsoft.com they have for whatever reason now started often
to ask for a Live ID aka a Passport ID to be typed in.

You can access Help on Line at

http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Win...S/default.mspx

If I understood better what you mean, I could fix this fast.
