| | RE: Vista Slide Show Crash/Freeze Click on start and type msconfig in the text box and hit enter. Click on continue if it asks your your permission to run this application. Click on service tab in system Configuration. Check 'hide all microsoft services' click on disable all. click apply and click ok Restart. Try to run slidwhow. If it is running success fully, then one of non microsoft service is not good. now you have to enable non microsoft service , restart and check if slod show is workign or not. After all these testing make sure you 'Enable All' in service tab and restart. if this also does not work, then you may have some problem withyour display driver, try to get some update from internet.
