Vista - Dell Axim X5 PPC Users - WMDC Help!

Any Dell Axim X5 users here able to sync with WMDC? I have downloaded and
installed the latest WMDC (version 6), but when I plugged in my Axim X5,
WMDC could not detect it. In the Sync Center, there's no option to setup
partnership. The strange thing is, under Device Manager, there's clearly an
Axim entry under the 'Mobile Device' tree.

The same for me... But I have 2 devices in Device Manager, one called 'Dell
Axim USB Sync' and one called 'Windows Mobile Device'. The last one has an
exclamation mark before it and when I open the poperties it says: 'Cannot
start this device, cannot load device drivers'. Anyone knows a solution???

What version of Pocket PC OS are you running?

I know my Axim X5 with Windows Mobile 2003 works.

I'm not for sure, but I think it's PPC 2003. In my PDA it says that it's
pocket pc v4.20.... I looked it up on internet and they say that it's version
PPC 2003.

Can you tell me what devices Windows did install on your computer, when
installing your handheld?
