Hi,

i have downloaded, installed and restarted since getting the optional vista
extras from windows update, yet in the vista extras window it says 'there are
no windows cista ulitimate extras available. The extras show up as being
sucessfully installed in the update history.

What can i do to resolve this problem?

If the latest were already installed, of course Windows Update would show no
more as being available.
Which of the 'Extras' are you looking for?

The ultimate extras such as dreamscene, bitlocker, hold 'em poker...

You did read, of course, that they are "ULTIMATE" extras. What version of
Vista are you using?

yeah i'm definitely using Windows Vista Ultimate edition...though i do have
the OEM version - but that shouldn't affect whether or not i get extras. its
a genuine version, that has been registered and activated.

Games will be in "Games", Bitlocker update is in "System Tools", Dreamscene
is in Desktop Background (right click Desktop/Personalize....).
All the Extras installed become integrated where they should be, logically.

They're an optional install. In Windows Update.. They're not
"recommended" or "default".
