System Restore & Vista Ultimate

I was a bit surprised when after running Vista Ultimate for a few days and
checked my system restore points only to find there none available by
default.

I then added one, and was even more surprised when within a few hours I had
none again.

For some reason my system is not retaining system restore points, is anyone
else having this problem?

Any info on this subject will be greatly appreciated.

Thx

Re: System Restore & Vista Ultimate

Are you dual booting Vista and XP?

If you are, this is a known issue. See the following link for a description
of the problem and a workaround.

I read somewhere that it's not on the drawing board as it would
require a complete re-write of System Restore in XP.
