E-Mail Button in Toolbar

I am running Vista Home Premium and access my e-mail using Windows Mail.
(It's set as my default). I have an e-mail button in the toolbar. When I
place the cursor on it, it says "Read Mail" but when I click on it, nothing
happens. I have to go to the Start button and access e-mail from that menu.
That's just happened in the last day or two. In the past I've been able to
access e-mail using the button in the toolbar. I've not added any other
e-mail programs recently. Can someone tell me how to get the e-mail button
in the toolbar to work? I really appreciate this group! I've found it to
be very helpful! Thanks.

Re: E-Mail Button in Toolbar

Hi,

Are you single or double-clicking? I've always found that I had to double up
on that one.

Re: E-Mail Button in Toolbar

I've tried both single and double clicking, Rick, but neither works. Thanks
for your suggestion, though.

Control Panel | Programs | Default Programs
Make sure Windows Mail is the default.
