Vista - Vista doesn't list .doc in File Association

Vista doesn't list .doc in File Association

I'm trying to associate .doc to a specific program but Vista doesn't list
..doc in the File Association list. Can I add it? It's a common file, why
doesn't Vista list it?

I see it here, under Control Panel|Default Programs|Associate a file type
