So far, so good.

Played a few games, set-up mail and newsgroups and had no problems.

They did however go pretty cheap now. Noticed a new computer has almost no
included games anymore, bare minimal program stuff. You'd expect for the
charge at least to see ms-office. Too many try-n-buys on the HDD, mostly
microsoft stuff.

That may be the regret I have getting it.


Noticed they rushed it out and there are a lot of companies that don't even
have upgrade patches for their software/hardware. Either MS failed to notify
them in a timely fashion or they got lazy and didn't heed the pre-release.


The cost od OS goes up, and they keep putting new ones out, yet the things
included are getting skimpier.

Are they try to milk us and screw the pooch?

They no longer feel the need to entice us? Say it ain't so......there are
still open source OS's out there I could use. And they are much cheaper.
