Dreamscene for non Ultimate?

Anyone know if these is doable? I'm not interested in non-MS
alternatives that look-alike, i'd like to run the actual Dreamscene on
my Vista Home Premium..

Anyone know whats required to do it? What files i'd need or if its
doable at all?
I read somewhere that there were some files you could copy to enable
it to run (once you had a copy, of course), but i'm wondering if
messing with those files would affect genuine validation?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Dreamscene for non Ultimate?

Only if you were to actually upgrade to Windows Vista Ultimate
would you be able to download and install DreamScene. This extra
feature was designed exclusively for Vista Ultimate users only.

Re: Dreamscene for non Ultimate?

Not yet. Although that doesn't rule out a non-Microsoft crack to use it
yet.

Otherwise, you're going to have to use MS Vista Ultimate.

Why?

It is an "Ultimate Extra".

This is really getting annoying.

Folks, if you want Ultimate features then BUY ULTIMATE!

Sheesh.

Re: Dreamscene for Ultimate?

Hello Again Carey,,

Hey, can you answer a question about the DreamScene for me..

You helped me with the OneCare issue about a month ago..

I have Vista Ultimate (and it's great).. BUT,

When I right click on my Desktop..

The DreamScene prompt is like a GHOST image and when I
click on it nothing happens..

Am I doing anything wrong.?

Thanks again for your help,

Sincerely,
Ken

Re: Dreamscene for non Ultimate?

I would have thought that the people who paid so much extra for Ultimate
would have/get advantages over the lesser priced versions.

Ultimate Additions = for those who paid extra for Vista Ultimate

Re: Dreamscene for non Ultimate?

I agree with both you and Scott..

That is precisely WHY I purchased my Ultimate Editions (Plural).

HOWEVER, I am getting upset in another topic that I am hearing
that Microsoft is going to support the Business Edition for FIVE (5)
years longer than the Ultimate Edition..

To me, that is totally CRAZY.. I paid the EXTRA money for the
Ultimate Edition (to have SUPERIOR functions to the Business
Edition), and now some people are saying that Business is being
supported longer than Ultimate..

This is NOT proper.. I have a business and I purchased my copies
of Ultimate BECAUSE it was supposed to be a better system than
the Business Edition (and it is with extra features), however, I think
we NEED to start a petition or something "-IF-" what is being said
is true about Microsoft supporting the inferior Business Operating
System longer than the Vista Ultimate..

This is wrong..

Sincerely,
Ken

IMO it's really not that big of deal. So you can run a video
as your desktop. What are you going to do sit there doing nothing
and stare at your pretty desktop while it runs the same video loop
over and over. If you actually USE your computer you don't even see it.

Re: Dreamscene for non Ultimate?

That is susceptible to change. Five years is a long way off to be worrying
about this.
