Thanks, I'm learning a lot about obnoxiousness from this NG. Though I can't
quite bring myself to type in all uppercase. And I do wonder why people fuss
and fret so much over resource usage in an era when hard drive storage costs
fifty cents or less a gigabyte. Seems pretty obnoxious to sweat over
trivialities.

guys there is a solution....

I have seen some programs like vlite that let you remove much of the bloat
from vista... and make it more usable... not as good as xp but is better
than
the :"out of the box" vista experience...

that is scary.. you open the vista dvd box and a 100 ton monster jumps
out...

Re: guys there is a solution....

VLite is similar to NLite... A great piece of software. You can add other
programs (Adobe, Firefox) and take things out, preinstall all the drivers on
the CD. I've used it for XP many times.

Re: guys there is a solution....

Or you could use DOS, which hardly consumes any resources at all!

HD usage != Resources

Resources = CPU cyles & RAM usage

CORRECT!!! At last someone who understands!
LOL yet that simple thing is beyond the understanding of most vista fanboys
in this newsgroup!
