| | Clicking on IE 7 Address Bar selector caused IE to lock up and need a task manager restart. I am using Vista Ultimate 32 on a brand new clean install, Dell dual core AMD. I am not running anything exotic for software. I am however running Office 2007 enterprise from my Action Pack as well as Expression Web. I am suspicious as too how well Adobe 7 standard is runing on Vista. I shut it down from a startup program. *** Often times when I click on the IE 7 Address bar to select something the whole IE locks up ***. The IE 7 window goes pale and gets an error "app not reponding". If I just wait it out for a few minutes it won't clear. IE can be the only thing running when this happens. I have also turned off all Add-ons for IE. Seems that the only thing I can do is bring up task manager and kill it. I really like Vista, but it has locked up on severl occasions and I am in the early stages. I Keith - Seattle. |

Now when I just went to add this newsgroup to my favorites in IE it locked up with a "not responding" again. I am able to open IE as another window and use IE any way I wish in that other window. It seems to be isolated to the current open window. |
