Ah my god.. windows not genuine problems

This is annoying me so much right now.. so I just installed a foreign game
that it said had compatibility issues, I didnt think that would be a big deal
though, so I install it and run it, bam.. 10 minutes later it restarts my
computer.. when I start up it says windows is not genuine, you need to verify
online, so I do and it fails the genuine check. Now I guess I have to
uninstall the game but guess what? Almost none of my programs run on startup
now, including explorer.exe and such, and if I close the windows is not valid
message It restarts my computer. To run a program I have to go to the
filepath in firefox. I tried to uninstall the game but when I run the
uninstall it says it can't allocate enough memory to start the process
(funny, because I have 2gb of ram). When I go to control panel, nothing shows
up, it is completely blank so I cant go to add or remove programs. I don't
know what to do. Why the heck does it say you pirated windows just because
you have a single program with compatibility issues?

Windows vista sucks. Any help would be appreciated

Anytime you install a new program on you computer, remember the little
phrase that you might see pop up to "backup all your computer data"
before you install it? All computer systems are subject to being
destroyed by installing one program, hence you have to learn how to
install and backup the operating system before you install anything on
top of it. It sort of like doing taxes.

System restore is nice, but not as reliable as a backup. More than
likely you have a legitimate copy of Windows if you only have that
problem with one program. I believe Windows Update will validate
your installation for you, and if your copy is validated, then stay
away from games that are not from reputable sources?

Re: Ah my god.. windows not genuine problems

Was the game called Maple Story by any chance? We had a similar thing happen
with Maple Story but after the not genuine message I uninstalled the game
and rebooted twice and everything was back to normal and working fine. There
was a reference in the registry left from the game which I deleted also.
