| | Download Vista RC1 build 5600 x64 I know that MS has closed the download but what am i suposed to do, i got that version installed on one of my laptops and it wont boot up anymore, it says i need to put in the cd to restore Vista to a previous working state, but ive lost the cd. I got importent files on the harddrive that i need and Vista wont load. Ive searched all over and only found it on a few torrentsites but there are no seeders. I dont want to lose all the pictures and other files i have on the computer, can anyone help me out? |

| | Re: Download Vista RC1 build 5600 x64 you can upgrade to vista RTM (although that is not supported normally) Im sure the RC1 or RC2 is floating somewhere in cyberspace... Why not boot a Linux Live CD and retrieve the data you're interested in? Boot a Linux Live CD and copy them to another partition on the disk or a CD or an external USB drive or a USB flash drive or whatever else you might have been planning on copying to. |
