    when will vista 5384 expire?

I have installed it with the e-mailed key. It works all fine for me on my
    notebook.
Anybody knows if there is a time limit like 30 days or 60 days or something
    like that?

Of course we will be needing the final release, when available, but, I think
this will be the last beta..

    what do you think guys?

I could have sworn i read that "my" download would be good for about 1 year
until it hits retail. And that I could install it on up to 10 pcs.

    Can anyone verify this please?

You have to activate within 14 days.
the beta is good for a year.
And no, this isn't the last beta, RC1 is still coming.

If you open a command prompt and type 'winver' it will tell you when the
    build will expire.

Can I upgrade from Windows Vista BETA 2 to the final version?
You may not be able to upgrade your installation of Windows Vista Beta 2 (or
RC1) to the final, commercially available edition of Windows Vista. To
upgrade you will need to acquire the final edition of Windows Vista and you
may have to do a clean installation. Time-limited software.

Windows Vista Beta 2 (and RC1) is time-limited, pre-release software that
will expire on June 1, 2007.

You are also allowed 10 activations with the one key.

Not quite. You may install on ten machines. You may reactivate any one of
those machines several times without using additional activations.
