| | Toolbar Color Change? I'm running the new Vista and my Toolbar is always gray. I like the older green color from XP. I've tried changing themes but only get the old Windows 98 toolbars. Any ideas. There are alot of things that can be customized on the toolbar under this new Vista - I just can't find the color option. |

Windows Colour (note spelt correctly although spelling checker doesn't think so) and Appearance under Personalisation (note spelt correctly although spelling checker doesn't think so). It's rather big, you may have been looking for a smaller option. | | Re: Toolbar Color Change? I'm incredibly disappointed that win mail only has the option of "English" as the dictionary language and yet it spell checks in some foreign version of English. (or should that be "verzion"?) I guess I will have to start adding the English versions of English words to the win mail dictionary. hah. its a shame the built in vista dictionary isn't multi-language. or at least include the option for the "Proper Queens English". or if it would use the office dictionary (if installed)... maybe an idea for an update?? steve <.> wrote in message news:eScKg4bYHHA.3928@TK2MSFTNGP03.phx.gbl... > Windows Colour (note spelt correctly although spelling checker doesn't > think so) and Appearance under Personalisation (note spelt correctly > although spelling checker doesn't think so). SQL Server - it's very important to set the language correctly. A lot of people choose 'English' This would be wrong, because Microsoft thinks that in England we speak 'British English' >steve > > ><.> wrote in message news:eScKg4bYHHA.3928@TK2MSFTNGP03.phx.gbl... >> Windows Colour (note spelt correctly although spelling checker doesn't >> think so) and Appearance under Personalisation (note spelt correctly >> although spelling checker doesn't think so). | | Re: Toolbar Color Change? Not anymore they don't. They now think everyone speaks NON RS English. Look up RS on Encarta - you'll find an hysterical defense on why RS should be ignored and they refuse to even define it. If you don't know what it is Encarta won't tell you. RS is the official English. RP is the official pronunciation. I hate the grey toolbar! | | Re: Toolbar Color Change? Come on Microsoft. Not being able to change the toolbar colour is obviously an oversight. I can't imagine you mean it to be this way! Strange my toolbars are sky blue, not grey. Maybe I need to have a warmer screen setting!!! =========================== "Bust3r18" wrote: > yes thank you it got it to do that now lol but when i click on the "change > the colour scheme" it opens up with the old looking style to pic the colours > were as when i first tryed to change the colours it opend a totaly different > windows to that one ? > > Bust3r18 > > "Fever" wrote: > > > > > Just go back to themes and select Vista Theme.
