I just purchased my laptop feb 2007. but the windows registry (product key)
keeps saying the key is invalid. Yet windows updates,validations, and
downloads
validate my windows vista premium authintic. I only have a few days left will
my laptop shut down? how can I correct this? no other cd, or versions were
installed. I heard other people with hp laps having same diffculties

As far as I am aware, your vista will slowly lose it's features and a image saying "pirate" or something will be irremovable from your background. I suggest calling your local microsoft support and getting it sorted out.
