Vista - Media Center keeps crashing

My rig consists of:
P4 3Ghtz
ATI 9600

I've got Aero and Vista works fine except for media center. I can never
start it up. It shows up for a sec or 2 and then crashes.
What is going wrong or what am I doing wrong

Open Control Panel > (set to Classic View) > open Problem Reports and
Solutions > View Problem History, look for any reports relating MCE, copy
the contents, open the Feedback link on the desktop > use the suggested link
to file a report with that information.

Check your Event viewer for any error messages relating to the MCE crash,
might help diagnose the issue. Make sure you have updated drivers for your
video card also.
