| | RE: Command Line CMD in Vista Ricardo: You might want to try installing the freeware DOSBOX program (http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/download.php?main=1) and run your old software in that window. Download link: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/d...r.exe?download I think that combination allows you the full screen option. | | Re: Command Line CMD in Vista Yes, Vista doesn't support "full screen" cmd windows. Does your app require full screen or is that just how you'd like to run it? If you open a cmd window, you can change the size of it so that it appears as if it running full screen. Don't know if that helps or not... | | Re: Command Line CMD in Vista Not in my windows with a text mode app (edit.com - Vista's advanced text mode editor). So I started Dosshell is Graphics mode and Windows complained that it can't run as full mode not available. This could of course be a NVIdia driver issue but I ain't changing video cards to test. It was Options, not Layout Full Screen doesn't appear to be a choice in either Options or Layout on any of the Vista systems I have access to. Have you installed something that gives you that ability? If so, what was it? Regards, Dave |
