Flip 3D not working

Flip 3D does not work for me. Neither the shortcut or winkey+tab. I have
build 5384.4.

Re: Flip 3D not working

Are you seeing Aero Glass? If not, your system may not support the
function.

Re: Flip 3D not working

What type of Video Card does your system have? If it is a supported video
card, have you downloaded the supported Vista drivers for the hardware?

Re: Flip 3D not working

Like Colin says, you need have the AERO Glass theme working. To verify if
you card is AERO Glass supported, click Start > right click Computer > click
Properties > click Advance System Settings > Hardware > Device Manager >
expand Display adapters, if WDDM, is not beside your card name, then AERO
Glass is not working.

Re: Flip 3D not working

I dont see WDDM by my video card, but I though I had glass working as some
windows are transparent. Is there more to aero? Is there anyway I can force
the other aero settings to work?

Re: Flip 3D not working

If you don't see WDDM beside your card, AERO is not working, you need to get
an updated driver for your card or do a driver rollback.

Re: Flip 3D not working

Just a quick point - I have the ATI Radeon Vista drivers installed and it
does not say WDDM next to them in Device Manager, even though they are WDDM.
