Outlook 2002 Network Password & Vista

This is a huge pain. Everytime I start Outlook it prompts me for the network
password. The registry fix mention in the Microsft KB doesn't work for
Vista. There are a ton of post, none of which are helpful in solving the
problem, when is MS going to fix this, it is a huge issue? After I enter the
PW the error message comes up, then I cancel the send/receive and run it
again and it works until I close Outlook. Please help

There is no solution. Outlook XP is not compatible with Vista. That is,
you can use it but it will not remember passwords. It is unlikely that
this will get fixed since Outlook XP is two generations behind the
current Outlook 2007. Here is a link to MVP Diane Poremsky's site about
the issue:

http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/vista.htm

I'm only repeating what I have heard/read about whether the password
issue will ever get fixed. For answers from Outlook experts, post in the
Outlook newsgroup, microsoft.public.outlook.general.

There was no message......what did you intend to say?

What do you mean "no message"? You quoted it! Maybe your email reader
(Windows Mail?) didn't quote properly, but I had no problem seeing your
reply (above), your original post, and my reply to that post in Thunderbird.

For your convenience, here it is again, quoted in your last post:

Here it is, taken out of your post:
