Windows Vista itself does work. So I'll go on it being the hardware under
powered or just junk.
Depending on where you are in the world you might want to get the computer
refunded for not being suitable for the purposes of which it was sold, in
the UK and the rest of the EU we have legislation to be able to do that.
If you want a computer for gaming, ask the supplier or manufacturer what the
Windows Experience Index score is, if you're doing gaming you'll want a 4
bare minimum (2 or 3 if you're just doing simple card games and the like),
and 5 if you want to play current games at maximum details.
