Shortcut arrow on icons

Is there any way to remove the annoying shortcut arrows on the icons? Tried
PowerToys but that won't install in Vista Beta2.

Re: Shortcut arrow on icons

I hit these 3 subkeys and nuke the IsShortCut value from all of them:

Open your registry and delete the value named 'IsShortCut' from the keys
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\lnkfile], [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\piffile] and
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\InternetShortcut].
