| | Opening Windows in Full Screen I remember Kim Komando describing a trick (key combinations that I have now forgotten) to open windows in full screen using XP. Is there such a thing in Vista? Thank you for your time |

On the short cut tab under run it probably says Normal Window. Click on the little down pointing arrow and chage to Maxamized. Now click on Apply, then finally click ok. Now click on the short cut again. IE7 should now open full screen every time. There have been several "bugs" related to this feature that go back several versions of Windows, so it doesn't always work for all applications or sometimes Windows just forgets and revents back to old habits. There is a similar way to resize how Windows open at by default. Just click minimize instead of maxamize and resize by dragging a corner of the window to the new size you want. Again sometimes it works, other times it just don't take, sometimes it forgets. I'm surprised they haven't made a funny Mac commerical about this Windows misbehaving "feature". |

| | Re: Opening Windows in Full Screen Also Dos programs can no longer run full screen, if the Dos program uses non standard video modes the program won't work in Vista.
