Vista - Problems with flash games

If I try and play a flash game that has sound.. it will lag pretty bad,
like.. right before the sound plays..
It's really annoying and I've tried to figure out how to fix it.. It does it
in firefox & IE7..
Help? Hopefully it isn't some vista bug that I won't be able to get rid of..

What sound device/card do you have and which driver have you installed?

Do any other types of games have this problem or just flash? What version
of flash did you install?

I have the latest flash... and everything else seems to work except for flash
games..
Ummm as for the sound it says Sigma Tel HD Audio CODEC & I have the driver
version 6.10
