Vista - What Do You Think About 3D Flip?

It's just another way to switch among open apps. The old ways all still work
too.

Flip 3D doesn't slow down your computer.

It only works with Aero.

What is Flip 3D?

In my Quick Launch Tool Bar I have 2 icons, "Show Desktop" and the other,
"Switch between Windows". See nothing about "Flip 3D"

its a little bit of 3d flip, for a huge vista flop

its just eye candy... you can have something similar with xp using a free
application called
TOPDESK... and with that it can work with far older graphic cards too

I have to agree, but since I use several different computers/OS's for my
work I was already familiar with Expose in OS X. I suspect the reason that
Microsoft didn't implement something like Expose is because they didn't want
to be accused of stealing Apple's ideas, again.

For me 3d Flip is useless.

I use Win XP Pro and Win 2000 at work. At home, my computer has Vista and
the other three have XP Pro. About the only thing I truly miss here at work
is IE 7. I love the tabs.

Other than that, ya do what ya gotta do, right? ;-)

For me Flip 3D was cool the first time, then I forgot about it and kept on using just Alt+Tab. I don't think it's more comfortable than Alt+Tab, plus the new Flip 2D there is as good for me.
