Vista - Shutdown impossible since the installation of the French package

Hi,

Since I've installed the French Package for Windows Ultima, it's now
impossible to have a complete shutdown of the computer for a restart or a
full shutdown. Is it a coincidence or a bug, I don't know?

DESCRIPTION :
When I do a shutdown the system begins to stop, "log off", "shutdown"... The
hard disk runs but at one moment it stops the shutdown process (Shutdown is
still displayed and cursor turns and turns and ...). I even let the computer
at this stage for an hour and nothing happened. It's repetitive : Each time
I have to do a hard reset.
Is there a solution for this problem?

*** Is it link with an other problem happened at the same moment : I can't
use my both DVD reader!

Depuis l'implantation du "French Package"il n'est pas possible de faire un
arrêt complet ou un redémarrage de l'ordinateur sans faire un "reset"
manuel..
Description :
Que ce soit pour un arrêt complet ou une demande de redémarrage de
l'ordinateur, le système débute la proécdure d'arrêt. Plusieurs étapes sont
effectuiées normalemment, telles que "log off" et "shutdown". Pendant la
phase "Shutdown" le disque dur travaille et à un moment donné il arrêtte et
rien ne se passe par la suite. J'ai même laissé l'ordinateur pendant une
heure à cette étape et il n'a pas poursuivi. Je dois donc effectuer un
"reset".
