Vista - Thinkpad Drivers For Vista - Persistant Problems

Hi,
Working with a Thinkpad x31, have continueing problems with:
1. ATI driver recommended by IBM/Lenovo, results in 'blue screens' in
atidual.dll
2. Thinkpad trackpoint driver will not install correctly. Vista asks for a
new driver after every boot. Updated to a 'PS/2' compatible driver.
3. Thankvantage's Drive Update Program (System Update Version #3) hangs
shortly after initializing. Reguires a manual termination of the
'tsvckernel.exe'
process.

Has any had similar problems?
Is anyonoe aware of the 'formal mechanism' for alaerting IBM/Lenovo (when i
posted a bug report to IBM, got a call (in broken english) from the hardware
team in
Atlanta).
Who is writing the new drivers? IBM or Lenovo?
