| | Unable to Save or Save As Did a Vista express upgrade through Dell and had problems getting it installed properly. Eventually I got it installed. My problem is now I can't save anything. If I try the Save as in Word pad or Note pad the blue circle of death shows up and the program just freezes up. If I try the Save as within MS Works all programs just freeze up. If I try to save a webpage within IE7 using save as it just freezes up and doesn't work anymore. I have to use task manager to close IE7 after that. Same problem within Firefox. Spent two hours on the phone with Windows support this morning to no avail. The problem has been escalated and that will be another two to three days. I reinstalled Vista to no avail. Same problems. Any help would be appreciated. |

Someone from MS will hopefully call me back today or tomorrow and tell me the same thing. If not, I'll definitely do a clean install on my own. Again, thanks.
