Windows Experience Index

Hi

Bought and installed more RAM today, it's working just fine except I cannot
get my index rating for vista to work.
It gets stuck near the end when it is check the disk, and then gives a
dwm.exe error. This didnt' happen before the new RAM went in.

Anyone know how I can get this to work ?
I've tried googling, not much I can figure out.

Thanks,
Mike

Re: Windows Experience Index

I would try running the Memory Diagnostics Tool (Start
Menu\Programs\Administrative Tools), as well as check your hard disk for
errors (open Computer, right-click the hard disk drive that you want to
check, and then click Properties. Click the Tools tab, and then, under
Error-checking, click Check Now. Select Automatically fix file system
errors).

Re: Windows Experience Index

Right. It should ask you if you want to check your disk the next time you
start your computer. Choose the "Schedule disk check" button, and restart
your computer. It will check your disk before the Vista desktop is loaded.
Did the Memory Diagnostics check go okay?
