I can get emails but can not send any emails. Says that it found the server
but there was no response. The setting are exactly the same as my out

Are you using it has a POP3 or connecting to an actual Exchange server. I
connect to an exchange server and 2003 works fine for me..
Might check the new firewall settings in Vista, has it's suppose to work on
Outbound traffic now. I don't use the firewall, so I couldn't say for sure.
I use Winmail for the Pop3 stuff
