| | Vista, Itunes and Adobe I am having several issues with Vista. First, in Itunes, when I am downloading I can no longer resume when the internet connection is interrupted. As I am in Iraq this occurs often. It resets back to zero and restarts. My connection is slow and unreliable. I can't figure out how to fix this so it restarts where it left off like it did with XP. Second, I am trying to install Adobe Photoshop CS 2.3. I installed it last week and had to deinstall. It will not completely deinstall, there is a hidden file in the installshield folder that is says I do not have permission to delete. How is this possible? I installed it and I am the administrator?? It also tells me when I try to install that is does not support the characters in the program files (86), which it did last week. Anyone have any ideas? I would appreciate the help. I am about ready to set my computer outside the gate and let someone blow it up. |

| | RE: Vista, Itunes and Adobe Last I heard, ITunes wasn't compatible with Vista - so installing it can cause all sorts of problems that you haven't anticipated. We have ITunes on the computer at work and it's a real PITA to use because of this. I've heard of similar problems with Photoshop - but am not real familiar with it. - John "Nichole" wrote: > I am having several issues with Vista. | | Re: Vista, Itunes and Adobe Thank you, gentlemen, for your input. The itunes is mostly working, just the occassional missing music and the downloads not working exactly right. I am very disappointed about the Adobe. I guess I shouldn't have waited so long to purchase it. I wonder what adobe thinks they are going to accomplish.
