Vista - Internet connectivity problems with Vista

I've got a new Vista HP computer. I've been having internet connectivity
issues from the day I started using this computer. I don't know if it's
related to Vista or IE7. What I do know is that I lose my internet connection
about a hundred times a day. These interruptions are brief and it will
reconnect on its own after twenty seconds or so, but that doesn't help when
you're in the middle of a download or an online chat session. Anyone else
having this problem? Any solutions?

You need to state the type of connection & hardware you have. Broadband?
Dialup? DSL? Router? Wireless? Sounds like your Internet connection setup is
incorrect. Your should check with your Internet Provider. It could be their
fault.

It's a new computer. Does anyone really use dial up these days? It's a cable
broadband connection that worked just fine on my XP system. Next you're going
to tell me that I have a virus? Or a driver problem.
