| | Re: Revalidation on new Computer As long as Vista is retail there should be no problems. Worst case, you will need to call Microsoft for phone activation, typically about a 5 minute call. -- Jupiter Jones [MVP] http://www3.telus.net/dandemar http://www.dts-l.org "cbcb52" wrote in message news:qll003d75app7k64oduib998bjr1fon980@4ax.com... > > > I will by a new computer ; my copy of Windows Vista is > currently validated on this computer. > Question is : will my revalidation be accepted in a new > computer ? | | Re: Revalidation on new Computer Hi, If it's a retail version of Vista, then when you install it on the new machine (after removing it from the old machine, of course), you will need to phone in the activation sequence rather than having it done automatically over the 'net. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org "cbcb52" wrote in message news:qll003d75app7k64oduib998bjr1fon980@4ax.com... > > > I will by a new computer ; my copy of Windows Vista is > currently validated on this computer. > Question is : will my revalidation be accepted in a new > computer ?
