Revalidation on new Computer

I will by a new computer ; my copy of Windows Vista is
currently validated on this computer.
Question is : will my revalidation be accepted in a new
computer ? Are there any rules concerning time of reisntall on another
computer ? ( or number of reinstallations ? )

Re: Revalidation on new Computer

As long as Vista is retail there should be no problems.
Worst case, you will need to call Microsoft for phone activation,
typically about a 5 minute call.

Re: Revalidation on new Computer

Hi,

If it's a retail version of Vista, then when you install it on the new
machine (after removing it from the old machine, of course), you will need
to phone in the activation sequence rather than having it done automatically
over the 'net.
