Vista - Windows Update and drivers update

ive reinstalled my Windows Vista some days ago, and i search for the drivers
on Windows Update and it doesnt find any drivers. Before it was finding
Nvidia 6600gt , SB Live! , my webcam and a network card update, but now it
dont find anymore. I dont know why this is happening.

When i first installed i was using the pt-br version, and now im using the
International, all in one version
is the international dvd with any bug that makes me impossible to download
driver updates?
the windows update are being found and installed, but the driver ones dont.

Can anyone help me?

Seems to me that you can set windows update to NOT search for drivers on its
update site Try control panel,,,system,,advanced system settings you will
find a box where you can choose whether windows will look at its update site
for drivers...This works for Vista Business and it may be the same for you I
am not really sure but at least that is a lead for you to follow....Best of

the option is already checked =(
seens my Windows is with a serious bug =/
the only path i see is to uninstall this international verrsion and install
the one that has only pt-br language
=/
but if this is really a bug in the international version a lot of people
wont be getting drivers updates by windows update

And you think that is a problem? NEVER get driver updates from
Windows update. Always get your driver updates from the manufacturers
website of the item you wish to update. Windows update more than 90%
of the time will not have the most current drivers for your device.

the problem is that the webcam driver from the manufacturer website isnt
working... =/
my webcam is an ic50c from micro innovations =\

That option only applies when connecting new hardware and has no
effect when going to Windows/Microsoft Update.

If a driver was previously available and is no longer, it may have
been pulled for some reason.
