RE: Office 2003 - 2007

Outlook and PowerPoint are part of MS Office, and not part of MS Vista or MS
XP ((those are only the "Operating System").

I too enjoy those two programs and am using a trial version with my new
computer. However, I plan to purchase "Office Standard" version 2007 when
the trial period runs out. There are other versions..Office Home & Student
does not include Outlook, and the version above Office Standard includes
programs I/we do not use or need.

You can check out the options and prices at Microsof.com or Best Buy, or
other retailers.
It is not often these programs go on sale, but with Christmas approaching
you may find MS Office on sale.
