windows media center (vista) errors

hello all hope your all well i have just bought a brand new acer machine dual
core etc and everytime i load windows half of the stuff wont work i.e the
side bar wont come up with the clock on and cpu meter etc and when i load
windows media centre all i seem to have is a error come up all the time and i
aint very happy i have been looking for help but microsoft aint explaining
why maybe there is a patch or something but this is really winding me up
baring in mind the machine is 4 hours old it comes up with a error do you
want to debug i click yes and nothing happens i just dont understand why this
wont load aswell as lots of other things i am beginning to think vista is the
worst operating system you can get i aint had any support from micrsoft
any ideas would be great please help

Return it for one that works. Not working out of the box and Acer brand seem
to be coming up a lot more than you would think they should given their
miniscule market share.
