Wait! So, after all your bitching about Vista you actively use it? Who's on a leash? Hahaha! That tool doesn't do anything that you can't do yourself. It BETTER be free! |

I've tried it, and I recommend the tool for power users. TweakUAC allows you to quickly switch between quiet elevation and normal elevation. Just switch to quiet mode when you have a few admin tasks to do and don't want to be prompted to tears. Then switch it back on when you don't. I've developed my own app that acts as a toggle between these modes, and I may provide it as a download in the near future. This is the way UAC should have been implemented. Not that Microsoft ever designs things the way they should. |

I did "try it out" in order to know if its good or not... seems simple and straightforward.... good enough for the average vista user IQ.
