Vista power setting issue somewhat resolved...........

I found that my Logitech optical mouse was the source of the problem
with my monitor not going to sleep.....and it didn't change anything
by switching the transmitter from the USB to PS/2 port !!!
By switching to a hardwired mouse I could make the monitor sleep as it
used to in XP..... .HOWEVER, in NO case can I make the computer go to
sleep.
When will Vista correct these issues. My optical mouse is brand new
and I checked the Logitech site for and update and it still made NO
difference...
Vista was certainly released WAY TOO EARLY and we are paying the
price.....!!!
I had to get a new scanner and webcam as well.......my old ones do not
support Vista........

I didn't get Vista by choice. My 2 year old computer fried in a fire
and NO computer was available in stores in my large city without Vista
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let me see if I understand you correctly. Logitech does not yet have the
correct drivers for you mouse. Is that right?

Your scanner and web cam do not work because, I assume, that the
manufacturers do not have the requisite dirvers for those either. Is this
also right.

And that is all because Microsoft released Vista too early. Is that also
right?

Do you see how silly your statement is?
