Printer access denied

A. Windows XP SP2 replaced with a new Windows Vista Ultimate
B. Windows XP SP2 - HP LaserJet 2100 attached via Parallel cable. I have
been using this printer for some years from a similar XP system. It is
shared.

May problem is that when attempting to print from the Vista Ultimate, I will
see the printer on the net. But when I attempt to print is won't show the
printer. When I click on Find Printer, the three computers all show. I
double click on the computer with the printer, and lo and behold there it
is. So I select it, and a message is returned that reads: "Windows cannot
connect to the printer. Access is denied."

I can access files on the computer with the printer,

Geeeze....
