Affects Both Windows Vista RTM And The Latest CTP Preview ( Febuary 2007) Of
Windows Vista Server Edition.

Bug is known, right click on the installer, and select run as administator

I offered an unpacked version for download but some here
were complaining that "its not authorized"....

That doesn't always work either. Didn't work for me. I had to turn UAC
off.

Are you getting the Temp folder fulll error ?

I found logging in as the actual administrator bypasses the UAC, which in
turn seems to cause Adobe to have this problem, the same as having the UAC
turned off. I found that running the Installer in XP compat mode got around
this issue.
