Didn't work for me. I had to turn UAC off. |

| | Re: Adobe Reader 8.0 Fails To Install When Logged In As The Built In Administrator Account. Are you getting the Temp folder fulll error ? I found logging in as the actual administrator bypasses the UAC, which in turn seems to cause Adobe to have this problem, the same as having the UAC turned off. I found that running the Installer in XP compat mode got around this issue. <kevpan815@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:eVvEtfLcHHA.3672@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... > Bug: Adobe Reader 8.0 Fails To Install When Logged In As The Built In > Administrator Account. > > Affects Both Windows Vista RTM And The Latest CTP Preview ( Febuary 2007) > Of Windows Vista Server Edition. > > Kevin John Panzke (MSDN Operating Systems Level Subscriber) > > kevpan815@hotmail.com > > > |
