Vista - Windows Vista Movie Maker

When I add photos or videos I get just so far along and the screen will turn
a transparent white and it will say movie maker is not responding and will
shut down. I can't get the darn thing to work any suggestions. Calling tech
support is impossible this is a brand new computer and it came with Vista
Ultimate and I bought it to edit home viedos. HELP PLEASE my son is
graduating soon and I need to get his video made for his party Thanks

hey man, i have this exact same problem. i am just trying to put
together a bunch of clips from my favourite tv show and i get maybe two
minutes into starting to put it together and it stops responding and
turns white-ish and i lose my project. i have vista ultimate. if you
find anything out i would love to hear about it.
