| | Vista packaging question I bought the retail Vista Ultimate box from Best Buy. What I've noticed is that they put a clear "semi-circle" seal at the top of the packaging right where the Certificate of Authenticity sticker is located. The guy at Best Buy opened the box and ripped that Certificate of Authenticity sticker while removing the plastic seal. Was that Certificate of Authenticity sticker important? Should I ask for a replacement? |

Which of course the Chinese counterfiters duplicate very nicely. <wink> As long as the disc is undamaged AND you can read the product key (inside), your next problem will be opening the #9#@#!@ packaging. Find the little bump about a half inch in from the edge put your fingernail under lift up and push toward the curved side of the top. If the moon isn't in the full phase and it isn't a odd number day, and you remember to face toward Redmond Washington (home of Microsoft) the package should open. Well most times it does. ;-) |
