| Guest | GPMC and Active Directory Hi, unless I am mistaken in what I have been reading, I should be able to run the gpmc and gpedit that came with Vista on my 2003 DC so I can manage both XP and Vista computers. Right now I have a Win2k3 DC running the same version of GPedit and GPMC that have been there since installation. When I add the policydefinitions, I see the options under the gpedit, but I see nothing under gpmc, and cannot create new policies based on the admx files. I had thought that if I installed the GPMC from Vista/Longhorn onto my DC, this problem would be solved, yet I cannot find a link to download the GPMC and GPedit tools anywhere on the microsoft site!!! Can anyone tell me where to download these snap-ins, and also whether I am correct that installing them on my 2k3 DC will enable me to manege both types of workstations? Thanks much, Greg Gardner P.S. This is probably my biggest beef of all time with microsoft. I have almost never found their search engine to even come close to giving me results that I need! :-) -- Greg Gardner IT Systems Engineer |
