Vista - Important office 2003 updates failed in Vista

Hi,
I was recently looking at the downloaded history of Windows update
and I noticed a few Microsoft Office 2003 important security updates
have failed.
Security Update for Office 2003 (KB920813)
Installation date: ?28/?03/?2007 12:10 PM
Installation status: Failed
Error details: Code 80070643
Update type: Important
This is just 1 of 6 that has failed but this failed update sounds like it's
important the others are word, excel, and junk mail filter etc.
I have tried to uninstall and reinstall these failed updates but windows
update history still tells me that these updates have failed to load
successfully. I believe the security update for office 2003 said it was
successfully when it finished but it's still showing up as update failed.
I'm using Windows Vista Ultimate with Microsoft office 2003 and
office seems to be working without any issues but I would like to
have all my security updates successfully without any vulnerabilities

Any Suggestions please?

Getting the same issue with Office 2003 SP2 - but only SP2. all other office 2003 updates are going through fine .I addition, when i fire up an office app I get a bad image message - MSACM32.DLL not designed to run on windows - etc etc.

I'm going to reload Vista today to see if the dll problem is cured - I hope that if it is, the SP2 problem will also go away, but I'll keep this thread posted...

I also have the same problem.
As per the error code 80070643 suggestion, I change the setting of Office
Source Engine ( MMC ) to either Auto or Manual. But the problem is still
unresolved.

Any one can help ???
