| | BSOD at user logon screen Whenever I boot vista (business edition), I can get to the user logon screen, but before I can select my profile to log in, the logon music skips and then i get a BSOD, followed by a restart. here is the info from the crash: STOP: 0x0000008E (0xC0000005, 0x948CAADE, 0x962ECAB0, 0x00000000) win32k.sys - Address 948CAADE base at 94800000, DateStamp 4549aea2 and then it dumps the memory. I really have no clue what is going on here. I haven't installed anything except civilization 4 and adobe after effects 7. thanks for any help. |

Booting into command prompt and doing a chkdsk? Looks like win32k.sys is corrupted, if you can get a command prompt, you might be able to copy Failing that... reinstall/repair is probably your best bet. P.
