I can't enable bitlocker, because i get this error message: Before you can
use Bitlocker Drive Encryption, you need to reconfigure your hard disk. But i
have all done what is needed. (image:

and here is a image of my partitions
(http://home.wanadoo.nl/bstekhuizen/patitions.PNG )
Partition C: is my windows partition and E: is my windows xp partition and
D: is a empty partition and the one with no name is the dell utility and
media direct partion

Re: Bitlocker

Hi JoostB,
Thanks for the image, this is very useful. The problem is that the boot
partition (the one containing the OS) is the same as the system partition
(the active partition containing BOOTMGR). For BitLocker to work, the
parition saying "system" must be different to the partition saying "boot".
Sorry that this will require reconfiguration of the system, we are working
on a tool to simplify the process.

PS. Most BitLocker topics may be better kept in the "security" help group.

Thanks
