| | File explorer under Vista I realize this is herretical in nature but the new Vista file Explorer is a very real problem for me. The Navigation pane comes and goes as it wishes. Sometimes the files are single click activation sometimes double-click. My shortcuts don't always work. When I create a shortcut it has the word "-shortcut" appended to it. The list goes on and on. I realize it may not make any sense to some but I have a structured way of using file explorere windows and shortcuts that is very valuable to me and does not work under Vista. I have set all options that I can find to "Classical View". Still doesn't solve the problem. Short of going back to XP (which I may do) is there anything I can do to get back the old file explorer functionality? Thanks. -- John Olbert |
